Trump Verifies Iran and Israel Reach Ceasefire Agreement

 

 

According to US President Trump, military activities should conclude in the next six hours.

The rising confrontation that had brought the Middle East to the verge of a regional war came to a short halt when US President Donald Trump proposed a dramatic and unexpected ceasefire between Iran and Israel.Iran and Israel have agreed to a full and definitive truce, according to President Trump, and military activities are anticipated to end in the next six hours. "Congratulations world – Iran and Israel have agreed to a truce," Trump said on his social media network Truth Social.

Iran is required by the agreement to immediately cease all military activities, while Israel is expected to do the same within 12 hours. After the 24-hour de-escalation window is over, the ceasefire will be officially acknowledged around the world as the conclusion of a 12-day conflict.

Trump emphasized that "neither party should breach this truce" and cautioned both parties against breaking the ceasefire. In order to prevent provocations that can rekindle hostilities, he further urged both countries to keep a dignified and peaceful stance.

Trump stated tearfully, "This conflict could have lasted for years and wrecked the Middle East — but it won't, and it hasn't." "A calamity has barely escaped the earth."

He prayed for peace in the Middle East, the US, and the world and praised the leadership of Israel and Iran for their "courage, perseverance, and wisdom." 

American media outlets have reported that Qatar was a key diplomatic player in negotiating the ceasefire. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the prime minister of Qatar, reportedly personally stepped in during talks, particularly after US attempts to present Iran with a ceasefire proposal had failed.

After Iran fired missiles at US military installations in the area, including the Al Udeid base in Qatar, Qatar's mediation became even more crucial. Following this, Qatar issued safety recommendations, such as closing schools and advising individuals to stay at home, and declared an indefinite closure of its airspace.
